Field Day Pop Up!

We've been a fan of Field Day apparel for a long time. One of Amelia's favorite dresses from Field Day was once black and has been so well loved and worn that its now a soft gray (but still going strong!) We're so pleased to welcome designer, founder, and powerhouse, Trinity, to the shop for a one day only pop up. She'll be bringing a selection of one of a kind sheet dresses and summery halter versions of the sheet dress as well as restocking our in-store favorites.

Come say hello, get a chance to own an original one of a kind dress, and have some snacks with us!

One of our favorite designers, Sarah Bibb, is headlining this year. Sarah makes the slips and obi belts we carry in the shop, but she is also a prolific designer of so much more.

July 05, 2016: Building a Dress Boutique: An Interview with Amelia Blakeman

What's it take to open your own dress shop, especially in a popular arts district? In this episode, we talk with Amelia Blakeman, owner of Amelia, in Portland, Oregon. We'll talk to Amelia about how she made the leap from designing and selling on the side to opening her brick and mortar shop, how she decides on the other designers she works with, and how she balances dress-making with managing a boutique.
